Come work with us

who_we_are

We believe that coming to work should be a rewarding experience for both paid staff and volunteers - our workforce is important to us, as is the positive impact they have with our clients’ health and wellbeing.  We appreciate the importance of having strong leadership and good management; we know that the most important resource in the organisation is our people.

Sussex Oakleaf has been an Investor in People for more than 10 years.  Last year we were recognised as a Sunday Times Top 100 Employer in the Public/Third Sector and awarded 1 star accreditation from Best Companies.

Our employees and volunteers on the ground are absolutely vital in ensuring that we do what we say we are going to do and that we do it well - delivering services of the highest standard and quality.  All of our staff and volunteers have access to learning and development opportunities through regular supervision and appraisal.

Other opportunities for development are offered through participation in a variety of working groups - we encourage people to get involved to contribute and learn.   Working groups review policies and procedures, develop training and learning, plan Sussex Oakleaf Week activities, take forward Equality and Diversity and our work on Recovery.
