Sunny Corner Café is a community café which opens twice a week on a Wednesday and a Friday from 4-7pm.  It offers low cost fresh cooked food to the general public, and is staffed by the manager and a team of volunteers.  

We have a vacancy for a Café Manager for 12 hours per week, covering both café sessions, however, we will consider application requests for job share and bank working. Your role will be to purchase ingredients and supplies and then prepare and cook affordable and nutritionally balanced snacks and meals for people accessing the community café, ensure that the kitchen and café area is maintained to a standard that promotes a high standard of safety, cleanliness and efficiency, manage and support a team of volunteers which includes providing on-the-job training as required, and maintain financial records relating to the cafe.
