Mindful Employer is open to any employer in the UK, whether small, medium or large, private, public or voluntary sector. Mindful Employer is facilitated by Workways which provides information, advice and practical support for people whose mental health affects their ability to find or remain in employment, training, education and voluntary work. Workways is run and managed by Devon Partnership NHS Trust and Mindful Employer is a Registered Trade Mark of Devon Partnership NHS Trust. The name Mindful Employer and the logo can only to be used by signatories to the Charter for Employers who are Positive About Mental Health and supporting organisations who have signed our Partnership Agreement.

Who are we?
The programme of 35 projects is led by Mind, and Rethink (Mental Health Media have now merged to become part of Mind). It is funded with £16m from the Big Lottery Fund and £4m from Comic Relief, and evaluated by the Institute of Psychiatry at King’s College, London.
The programme is backed by international evidence on what works, and has at its heart people with direct experience of mental health problems.
Positive about disabled=
The disability symbol is made up of two ticks and the words ‘positive about disabled people’. The symbol is awarded by Jobcentre Plus (a UK Government agency) to employers in England, Scotland and Wales who have made commitments to employ, keep and develop the abilities of disabled staff. Employers who use the disability symbol make five commitments regarding recruitment, training, retention, consultation and disability awareness.
