Position: Volunteer Administration Assistant

Location: The Old Chapel - Hailsham

Hours: As agreed/variable - Minimum 4 hours per week

Responsible to: Recovery Worker/Assistant Manager

Role Outline

To perform general administrative duties and provide admin support to the Wellbeing Assistant Manager/team

Main Tasks

1. Answering general queries by telephone and welcoming clients on arrival
2. Photocopying/scanning documents
3. Obtaining information from the computer
4. Maintaining records, filing systems, and computer files
5. Ensuring notice boards are tidy and entrance has sign in sheets
6. Updating and maintaining email distribution lists
7. To update the Community Contacts database ensuring it is up to date
8. To send out promotional material
9. To participate in supervision, team meetings and training as appropriate and in accordance with Sussex Oakleaf’s policies.
10. To be aware and work within the policies and procedures of Sussex Oakleaf East Sussex Community Wellbeing Service.
11. Any other tasks commensurate with the post.
