Place of Calm - Suicide Prevention Service in Eastbourne
The ‘Place of Calm’ is a new pilot project, commissioned by East Sussex County Council, as part of a suicide prevention initiative. The new project is being delivered jointly in partnership by Sussex Oakleaf and Recovery Partners, two established Sussex-based, not for profit organisations. The Place of Calm project will be a 7 day a week service, providing a calm space with access to 1:1 suicide prevention and peer support, for up to 24 hours, for individuals referred by suicide prevention and crisis management professionals.
