Paul Featherstone

Paul Featherstone

Paul joined the Board in 2016. In his early career, he was employed in local government but in 2001 he was appointed as the first Director of Support Services for Martlet Homes, a housing association in Chichester - later becoming Deputy Chief Executive. Paul guided Martlet’s admission into the Hyde Group - one of the country’s largest housing provider - and became the Group’s Director of Risk and Compliance before returning to Chichester as Managing Director of Hyde Martlet, responsible for 11,000 Hyde homes across Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire. Paul is qualified as a Chartered Company Secretary and has a Master’s degree in Employment Law. Paul retired in 2014 but seems to have only a little more time than before for his sailing boat and his love of travel! As well as other voluntary roles, he has a long list of DIY requests from his three adult daughters who live nearby and also enjoys occasionally working as the relief skipper of a small ferry in Chichester Harbour.
