Crawley Steps Community Wellbeing Service (CWS) Update

Crawley Steps Community Wellbeing Service (CWS) Update

Following consultation with clients and volunteers, the decision has been made to move away from the Crawley Steps CWS base at Perryfield Road. This change is being made to enable us to reach more people that need our services by utilising existing community spaces and by further developing partnerships with a range of organisations. The service will continue to provide one to one sessions, groups and activities but from 4th April 2016 these will now be offered in the community across Crawley.

We would like to reassure you that the service will continue as normal through the change and the updated community programme is available here Steps Spring Community Programme. Staff, volunteers and clients have all been involved in identifying and visiting suitable venues from which to run our groups and 1:1s. All venues are accessible, on local bus routes and above all are welcoming. Staff will continue to have an administrative base in Crawley and our telephone number will remain the same; 01293 534782. You can also contact us via email at accesscrawley@sussexoakleaf.org.uk.

Our open access sessions will continue each week starting on Wednesday 6th April from 11-1 at the Scout Hut, Oak Road, Southgate. The community forum will be held every 8 weeks as a way for people to feedback, get involved and be updated on any service or organisational news. The next Community Forum is being held on Thursday 21st April from 2-3:30 at Crawley Baptist Church, Crabtree Road, West Green.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support and involvement over the last few months.
