Mental Health Support for Young People

Free and confidential support for people aged 16 to 25 living in Crawley, Horsham and Mid Sussex

Lighthouse Recovery Service

Support for people with a personality disorder in Hove. Open 7 days a week providing daily groups and activities as well as individual support.

Temporary Housing Services

Temporary accommodation in Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Peer Mentoring: Lived Experience

One to one & group support as well as learning for those with a lived experience of mental illness.

24 Hour Registered Care

Medium to long term accommodation across West Sussex with 24 hour support for individuals with enduring mental health conditions.

Community Recovery Service

Personalised support for individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions within their home.

Mental Health Support to Find Work

Sussex Oakleaf can offer support and help to anyone struggling with their mental health who would like to start moving towards employment

Young Persons Service

Be OK - Mental Health Support for Young People

Be OK is a free mental health service for people aged 16 to 25. We provide confidential support which promotes independence and helps to build resilience. 

We can offer you support if you are aged 16 to 25, living in Crawley, Horsham or Mid Sussex and are:

  • Worried about your mental health and need advice or information
  • Have a mental health diagnosis and need help learning to cope
  • At college or university and struggling with your mental health
  • Moving from Children and Young People mental health services to adult services

We can help you to get ahead in life by learning to cope with your mental health, learning new skills and gaining confidence.

We offer a range of support such as:

  • One to one support from one of our Recovery Workers to help you achieve your goals
  • Groups and activities to learn new skills and meet new people
  • Support to move into work, volunteering or education
  • Support from Peer Mentors who have personal experience of living with mental health problems

Pathfinder MainPart of the Pathfinder project

Pathfinder West Sussex is an alliance of organisations working together to enable people with mental health support needs, and their carers, to improve their mental health and wellbeing.

Pathfinder West Sussex includes the following organisations Sussex Partnership Foundation NHS Trust, Cornerhouse, Stonepillow, United Response, Richmond Fellowship, Southdown, Sussex Oakleaf, Rethink, Capital, & Mind in Brighton & Hove.
